Due to the high-temperature properties of the material and the very fast printing speed of up to 400mm/s, it is intended for advanced users. Due to the beautiful fusion, the individual layers can no longer be perceived with the naked eye at a layer height of 0.15mm.
Technical data
The material is biodegradable and therefore open to many applications. The in-house development of the material is caused by the addition of mineral substances to the raw material, which is then extruded during production under high heat. This creates the unique rough surface and the unmistakable feel of the material.
Applications
The material is used, among other things, in urn construction, where the haptics and the unique surface are highly appreciated.

Extrudr Flax is used by Nest in the area of organic urns. Due to the special properties and the beautiful surface of the material, the printed parts can be processed into unique urns, which can be precisely adapted to the individual wishes of the customers by means of additive manufacturing. Due to the biological origin of the material the urns can be used for earth burials.
