#extrudr #summergiveaway #3dprinting #3dprints #extrudrfilamentThis is what “print, sand, prime, paint” looks like up close. 🎨

Every ridge and curve you see started as a 3D print in our WOOD filament. Stefan Reiterer sanded it by hand, then painted it. It’s part of a series where the same view of Bregenz is repeated across increasingly larger, more distorted prints, warping a little more with each step.

The result 👉 sculpture and painting, fused into one object.

Check out Stefan’s artwork, made out of Extrudr WOOD filament, in his exhibition “level”, on show now at Bildraum Bodensee, Bregenz, until 27 August 2026!

Meet Stefan Reiterer, the Austrian artist behind “level”. 👋

For this exhibition, every sculpture on show is self-printed for the first time in his six-year practice with 3D printing, using our WOOD filament as the starting point for each piece.

Behind him: a row of “formants,” part of a series where the same view of Bregenz repeats across increasingly larger prints, warping a little more with each step.

📍 Bildraum Bodensee, Bregenz, until 27 August 2026
✨ Finissage: 27 August, 7 PM, with a personal tour by Stefan himself

#extrudr #extrudraustria #extrudrfilament #formants #3dprintingart3D-printing moulds for carbon parts in motor sports. 🏎️

This mould was printed in Extrudr PETG Grey by @schanzerracing (@thingolstadt_official), a student team building electric race cars from scratch.
👉 Swipe to see the final part it helped build.

Most of the team's filament goes straight into moulds like this, used to laminate wings, bodywork, air ducts, and more on their race car.

Why PETG? 👉 Chemically resistant, mechanically strong, easy to sand, easy to print.

Which filament would you use for 3D printing moulds? ✍
