Snap-fit joints should click together. No screws, no glue, just a well-printed part.

When they don't, most people jump straight to redesigning. But you can often fix it in the slicer settings.

👉 Swipe through for the 3 print settings to check first and save this for your next print session!

#extrudrfilament #3dprinttips #extrudr #3DPrinting #extrudraustriaPrinting something that will hold or serve food? Here's what you actually need to know. 👉

A food contact approved filament is the right place to start, but it doesn't automatically make your final 3D print food-safe. The printing process itself introduces risks that the filament alone can't solve.

Swipe through to see why, and what you can do about it.

One noteworthy takeaway: Not all colored filaments are food contact approved either. Always check the datasheets before you print. With Extrudr filaments, we flag it clearly when a specific color is not approved, so you always know exactly what you're working with. ✅

 #extrudr #3dprinttips #extrudraustria #extrudrfilament #3DPrinting☀️ Printing something for outdoors?

Outdoors, UV damage builds up over time. And on a hot summer day, surface temperatures can easily reach 60–70°C even in the garden.
⚠️ With the wrong filament, you risk fading, cracking and warping.

Here's which filament to reach for 👉

DuraPro ASA: built for direct sun, year-round. The permanent outdoor specialist.

FLEX Hard (TPU): UV-resistant and flexible. For parts that bend, seal or need to resist impact.

PETG: easy to print, water-resistant. Great for the garden, but avoid direct intense sun and high-heat spots!

Save this for your next outdoor print.
